Hmm.. broken syntax. Please edit and correct what yer trying to state or ask.
Stock carb?
Do you mean that fuel is shooting out the vent tube? if so that usually means the needle isn't seating and/or the float is hung up.
The Great Orich pointed out that most guys will rebuild the carb and then forget to clip the needle or don't install the float spring correctly. Open 'er up.
After correcting, avoid inverting the carb because that can cause the float to hang up.

I only saw gas spew out a carb once in my lifetime. My 79' with a 429 CJ needed a new gas tank, and while it was out I decided to drop the fuel line into a five gallon gas can. The truck started, then flooded out spewing literally cup fills of gas right out of the carb. I put a rag around the fuel line going into the gas can, half assed creating a seal and it solved the problem.
With this said, I know it's an oddity. Not sure exactly what caused it, but maybe it can lend a clue for what's wrong in your situation.

OK, if it's pouring liquid gas out the top, that's not a timing issue. I was thinking you were describing a "sputtering" or intake backfire, which can involve a little fuel mist splashing back up, but now it sounds more like your carb bowls are overflowing out the vent tubes or something? That could be a float/needle valve issue as James and blue04.5 suggest...
