You have bedwood and strips in yet? You may want to do that prior. From that angle in that pic, it looks like 1/2"-3/4" would probably set you flat and it might come at full weight.

So last night I got the brake pedal assembly mounted. Progress is slow, and expensive!!

Yeah your working through some big ticket items right now. That will taper off and continue to peak and valley as you go.

Are you happy with the height of the pedal? There is some adjustment on the rod but I felt it was still to high.
