Well the clear coat was coming off in places..... It came out good but I still need to do some polishing....I'm actually at a standstill because I'm torn between just polishing the heck out of them or just painting them...

Not to hijack this thread, but it seems like mileage has come up quite a bit. I had a little road trip from Broomfield, CO to Pueblo, CO to pick up our boat from repair. I saw 22.2 mpg on the dash when I arrived in Pueblo. This was running regularly and keeping up with traffic and running 77 mph where I could. The final return home mileage was right at 16 mpg, this was the for the complete trip, with the boat in tow the second half. I thought this was very good, I am thrilled.

Not bad numbers, but those are still numbers from the LoM and not actual MPG.

In fact, at all times I drove like I had an egg between my foot and the throttle. In spite of that the truck got 18.27 MPG, although it was telling me it was getting 19.7 MPG.

I'm not sure if there is something wrong with the truck, or if this is about average. I love the truck, but expected to get better MPG than this.

Gary that's about what my Dad is getting in his truck setup just like yours,he was thinking the same thing..

That trip up the Mnt didn't help though the trip down did... lol We go there every once in awhile to relax ourselves.. I had Dad to try a tank of mid grade to see if that would help, havent checked his mileage yet this week to see.

So, maybe mines fine? Or, at least typical? Anyway, thanks.

Me too. I didn't know there was more than one version of the center panel.

I would like to know a LOT more about that. If you aren't willing to post it here then please PM me. I'm really disappointed in the system in my Platinum. The HK system in my wife's MB blows mine away.

Wow, that really takes away the flat floor area. I assume there are subwoofers built into that enclosure? I wonder what it would sound like, or if it could even be done, without that.

No kidding! One of the best features on our F-150 is the gigantic back seat area when the seats are folded up. I like good sound as much as the next, but in a truck, well, what's in there is plenty good for me. I won't trade that much back seat space for a sound system.

I can see that being a concern. This is what it looks like with the seats down.

After installing JBL Concert Edition premium sound system to the F150 2015 truck!
