If some many people are doing so many unsafe things -

Absolutely. And the bottom line is none of it really matters. Forums are a great place to research mods and problem cures. However, people coming to get advice on TVs, tires, and the the like are always sent away screaming by the mob. How often do we see an OP ask a question and never follow up (likely for good reason...) and yet the thread goes on forever?

And you're dropping facts to support your position.
His was not just a SRW, it was a 250 SRW. And not a new one with "the same components between a 250 and 350".
I said his pin weight could be as great as mine. Thus he could be well over a 2011 250 limit.
We both agree he needs to weigh the trailer loaded.

Actually, the 2011-2015 F250 and SRW F350 are ALL identical. Not sure why you're confused on this? Actually, they have been a component or two apart since 1999 when it all began. This has always been a question and it's always gotten the same answer. Same truck. Yes, some current gen 250's have the shorter block or lack the upper overload spring. The block only affects esthetics and the overload spring can be added in the form of airbags which I recommended in the other thread.
I guess I got confused by your statement, as you just added.
Remember, your 250 is 99% identical to a single rear wheel F350 with only 2 very small differences. The SRW 350 comes with a single upper overload spring and a taller spacer block under the rear suspension. Without these two things, your truck will sag quite a bit more than mine and the airbags will compensate for this 100%. .
And if you are going to say that air bags add capacity like springs do, then we are done here.

Well, absolutely of course they do. Not on the sticker or paper but they are doing 100% the identical thing of supplementing the main spring pack. Air bags are the only thing on a Semi. Air bags are the only thing on a Kelderman air suspension. If you don't think they do the same thing as a metal spring only better, then yes, we are done here. LOL.
