Guages / Fantisy Island

In a perfect world what would you have for your "extra" gauges / if you could go back in time and do it over again would you pick the same gauges? Why or why not?
What make /mfg of gauges are you using?
Other than Boost, Pyro & Trans Temp (for autos} what gauges do you have?
What boost PSI does a stock motor run? {30psi, 60psi, or 100psi gauge?}
Pyro gauge? {1500, 2200, 2400 deg?}
Trans temp gauge? {200, 260, 300 deg?}
Glow Shift / Auto Meter / Stewart Warner / VDO / others?
Thanks for any & all on topic input.

I have 4 different manufacture's gauges in 4 different trucks. I used Stewart Warner in the 85. Next came Glowshifts in the 97 followed by Ispro in the 96 crew, and last was Autometer in the 96 C&C. I'd rate them 1-Ispro, 2-Stewart Warner, (may be a tie for firs place on these) 3-Autometer, and lastly would be the Glowshift.. I'd use them all again except for the Glowshift. Remember, you get what you pay for.

I had two autometer pyro gauges fail. Replaced by Ispro's. The rest are mostly autometer gauges, boost-coolant-oil pressure-etc. I did buy one Glowshift gauge, a pyro that I mounted in the passenger side exhaust manifold just to compare with my Ispro in the drivers side exhaust manifold. The Glowshift reads about 100° below the Ispro. Then of course the Scangauge, its reads a lot, love it.

I have all autometers in my truck, trans temp, pyro, and boost. They were there when I got it. Never had any trouble with them. If I had a manual I think I would sub the trans temp gauge for a HPOP gauge, or if I get Electric fuel, a fuel pressure gauge.

I think my trans temp is 100-250, boost is 0-40 and pyro is 0-1600.

I use the Interceptor Scan Gauge to monitor most engine parameters and a AutoMeter digital Pyro to monitor EGT.

I've got glowshift and autometer gauges, along with a scangauge. 10 total. My glowshift and autometer egt gauges read about 25 degrees apart. I run autometer on one egt gauge, oil pressure gauge, and boost gauge. The rest are glowshift, except of course the scangauge. I've never had a problem with any of my glowshifts. They aren't as high of quality, but none have failed on me in 4 years. As many gauges as I have it would have cost a fortune for all autometers.

I think it had something to do with it being in an open front shed with no motor for 8 months. The color looks funny with the flash. It matches the interior in daylight

Poor Nick, you have that red interior...

As for ranges:
0-1500°F for EGT (don't run over 1200 for very long)
0-30 boost for a stock truck
0-250°F trans

not the first one. I had red in my old bricknose, the 92 is red, and the 97 is burgundy. I don't mind the burgundy. The lighter red is pretty bright though.
