status update: pulled the pan and there was metal flakes in it... a pile about the size of a quarter..the filter screen was blown out...I pulled the valve body as well since I knew it was probably full also and it was. So ive gotten most of the parts removed to pull the transmission. right now Im stuck getting the passenger side header out.. Its a hedman long tube. Ive loosened the trans support, and jacked the trans up a bit, as well as the passenger side motor mount and I still cant get it out. Its binding on the frame and rear cylinder on that side...UUGGHHH!.. I spent more time on this and getting the front support out than I can stand!!..I was thinking 3-4 hrs total and Ive got that in just what ive done so far! starter is out, no trans lines in the way...Im about 1 hr away from a saw-zaw!!! It always seems that something that should be easy creates the problems!....anyways, found a referred guy that builds racing trans, so if I get it out sometime before I die, it will be back on the road.....to be continued...

 

Did you spit on it.? Oh wait, that's to get it to go in... LoL
Try loosening the other motor mount and raise the whole engine a few inches.
