If you go to Carlisle's site (carlisleevents.com) you can pre-register there, or get a pass on the day you show up at the brick building by Gate 3. I don't know if there's a "day pass" option that way to park on site - I think they make you pay for the whole weekend. Otherwise, you end up parking at one of the lots off-site and walking in.

Here is the link to Carlisle's site, just scroll to the bottom of the info and click on Gate N Go: Skip The Lines. Avoid The Hassle. Enjoy Your Show.

Pre-registration deadline is July 6 for the discounted price ($45 before July 6, $50 after that).

Got my creds in the mail yesterday. A new change for vendors - you can only get your guest passes at the will call window! what a joke, used to be 2 per spot per day, now its 2 for first spot, 1 each for each addt'l spot...

Painted the inside of my cargo trailer yesterday....getting ready to start loading!

One additional detail. We don't limit to just Ford trucks. We take all rejects.

Its the little details....

went camping last week by the river in the clarion wilderness area (USFS, free camping, lots of wildlife fun) On the way there, the left brake stuck - which figures, I only changed both calipers and pad sets last summer before carlisle. in the 11 miles it was on fire pretty good when we parked. doused the grease fire.

sweated the drive home 2 days later - no problems but then again, I didnt hit the brakes once until I got to the driveway.

rock auto, some parts arrive in 24 hours (with std shipping!) got to it tonight. rotor is glazed like a donut but still servicable...the caliper looks fine, gonna take it apart. the grease in the bearings was black and crumbling and there was a little play. out they came.

dunno if you ever did the camper/box truck vs the regular van, but there are some extry parts in there...all checked out. so this year I have new rotors, new pads (again), new bearings and one new caliper. lets see how long THIS lasts.

I have to admit, for as big and heavy duty as the cutaway vans are, ford has the layout wired tight. I never really paid much attn before but they are straightforward designs compared to a lot of others I have done.

Things change, but as of right now, wacky weather is calling for sunny, low 80's with nights in the high 50's at the ATNs. PERFECT camping weather for the field....

Yeah, been kinda keeping an eye on the weather. Looks like it should be a decent weekend.

Trying to round up a car trailer so I can bring both trucks (show truck and diesel). Both registered for the event this year...
