Clogged oil cooler again

Clogged oil cooler again
Hey Guys,
I just replaced my oil cooler and 500miles later its clogged again. Delta reached 40F
NO FUN
I replaced it with the factory ford cooler and installed the coolant filter but I guess when I did the first flush I missed sum gunk.
So my question to you PROs, should I reflush/restore again then replace the cooler? OR Go with one of these??
Coolant-to-Liquid Oil Coolers
IPR External Oil Cooler Kit for Ford 6.0 Powerstroke
The budget is tight, but I gotta keep the truck going.

I agree. Either something went wrong with the flush process or the oil cooler bypass is stuck open. With that few miles maybe the trash in the cooling system hasn't had time to pack into the cooler real tight and may flush out. Definitely pull the block drains if you didn't the first time. If you have to turn wrenches on it again, eyeball the bypass very closely.
The external coolers are nice if you tow extremely heavy or live in some extreme weather, but the factory set up has proven to work well for most people when it's in good shape.
