New Excursion owner

Hey everyone I have been lurking around the forum for awhile now in hopes of picking up an excursion. With a lot of searching and some great help from FTE I managed to purchase one in march. It is a 2001 V10 4x4 The decision to buy an X was an easy one but finding the right one took a bit longer. I like to spend a lot of time outdoors and I have two young kids , so my old cherokee finally became too small. The plan for the new X is to become a carry all, travel all sort of family adventure machine ! Thus she has been dubbed the "Family Truckster" . She is pretty stock right now I will post up my already accomplished mods soon, and my list of future mods is fairly long but will include things like lift, truckvault, roof rack, awning, fold down table and other functional extras. I will upload photos and more info soon I appreciate all feedback and am thankful for all tg e help I have already received from the forum

Welcome to FTE and congratulations on your new (to you) Excursion. They are unique and fun to drive - and for some, a challenge to park.

I'd love it if you don't sell it.. I don't think you can PM me until you have a few more post but check. If you give me the vitals I can check what it would cost to ship it. Thanks Harley

I was very surprised at the small difference in mpg. And I am loving this thing. I have already put 3k on it taken it everywhere I normally did in the jeep and its A LOT easier to sleep in

Welcome aboard Crooked!
Your Ex is looking good, I like the front end changes! And that color combo is great!

And here are the pics you asked me for, 305/70R18E Nitto Dura (35.28") on '04 Lariat 18"s and my modded X/Modded B springs (+3 7/8" front +4.5" rear).
