1979 a/c compressor bracket

I'm looking to make on-board air on my '79 and I have a bracket that I got at a junkyard off of a '79 f150. I have a 250 with a 351M, and the bracket is a DO8H-19d624 - is that the right bracket? The reason I ask is cause the vacuum for the distributer is in the way - I have to rotate the distributer to create clearance for the compressor.

It sounds normal to have to reclock the diastributor for ac clearance. It is rather tight compared to no AC. I don't know if the part number is right.

Here is my 351m with ac compressor installed.

How far is the 'spacer' on that bracket for the power steering pump away from the flat part where the compressor mounts? I have about 2 inches, but I have seen some pictures of brackets with a lot less distance.

Look at this ID engineering number again, what you posted makes no sense.

The prefix begins D8O, but is the H correct? You also omitted the suffix that follows 19D624

OK, I will look at it tomorrow, and see what is on it. I thought it was odd that there wasn't a suffix.

I took some pictures and my dyslexia had goofed up the prefix on that PN. I also grabbed a shot showing the spacer location with a tape measure. it's around 1 3/4 inch.

It's an ID engineering number, not a part number, but it has no suffix, so will be almost impossible to identify.
