Back from the land of the dead. I spent the last week visiting different friends and family in socal.

Went down to San Diego for my friends graduation at UCSD. I was in Santa Barbara with family the day I drove down. Took me 8 hours to go 230 miles. Traffic was bumper to bumper from Valencia to San Diego. I dont understand how people live in those conditions...

Sounds like Los Angeles traffic. Glad I don't live down there anymore.

Huntington Beach is good, so is Newport Beach, and of course, they both get super crowded in the summer time.

I grew up on the river. I'm not a huge fan of salt water. Or crowds.

Good Morning NorCal...

Finally cooled down a little bit yesterday, only 93 degrees. Luckily I'm working inside trimming out windows and doors.

Hope you have a great day out there.

TGIF Nor Cal, stay cool if you can. I plan on staying indoors all day.

It hasnt been so bad here the last few days. Low 90's. It feels like it might heat up a little today but my nephew is coming down and we're going to the river all day. Just have to get my lawn mowed before it gets too hot.

Yeah, if I have any errands to run, I try to get them done in the morning, before the heat arrives.

At least it looks like he will use it.

Got a call from the property management office today. They approved my application to rent the apartment. I go over Monday afternoon to pick up some paperwork I need to take to WestCare so they (WestCare) can pay my deposit, and first month's rent. They might also pay PG&E. I told them I am looking to move in on or around July 1st, as I know HUD has to inspect the place, and it usually takes them 7-10 days to get out there.

In order to better suit me, I need to get an ADA compliant toilet, and hand held shower head. Both items can be bought from Home Depot, and WestCare can help with that, as well as getting me other things I need. Things are looking up. God is good.

Hey fellers, long week.....tri top, shrimp, asparagus and corn on the Bbq this afternoon.

Looking for a 3/4 ton truck. Regular cab, long bed with a lumber rack preferred. Lemme know if anyone happens to come across one.

Looks like everyone is doing well. Happy Fathers day to all the daddy-o's out there. I'll be spending it with my father and son.

Happy Fathers Day to all..

Pretty sure I`ll be catching up on some sleep. I seen ol Hilary yesterday in SF. She was looking for donations at building I work on. Took pics and was egging on the protestors milling about, good times.
