Looking for 1959 F100 headlight bezels...

A good friend is building a '59 F100 and someone has helped themselves (stolen) the headlight bezels off the body in his yard while he worked on the chassis.

He's an older guy, not internet friendly, so I told him I'd help him out trying to find some.

We're in Australia but are willing to freight from anywhere. Let me know if you have any, or know where any are.

Cheers, Adam.

EDITED: Changed rings to bezels, my mistake on the terminology.

Thank Grinchman, I found them, part # 47-4810 headlight retaining ring.

I now realise the error in my thread, I meant the bezels, not the rings. My mistake on the terminology, I must have been asleep as I typed.

I have updated the original post and the thread title to suit.

If he wants original parts I have been working on this guy to sell me some of what hes got.

Guy is local to me, and I wouldn't mind shipping parts to a fellow ford lover.

That horn ring is mine!

I also know of a set in a yard. I gotta get some other stuff for myself so if the price is fair I will grab them and pass them on. If your guy isn't interested or already has some I will just flip them. Might get there Saturday.

If you're talking to the seller find out how much he'd need for them. Much appreciated.

If those leads don't pan out, I can get originals for sure. I'm not on here a lot anymore, but my email is Tumblindyce@gmail.com.

I have a pair that I will send you for free. One is chrome the other is painted. The chrome one has some heavy rust, but it not rusted all the way through. It can be salvaged.

I know how hard it is to find these. It took me over a year watching Ebay and eventually found a pair at a salvage yard in Nebraska.

Email me at dcagnolatti@***.net with the shipping address and I will ship them to you.

'58 and '59 bezels are different, not interchangeable. The headlights were closer together in '58, and they mount differently. The '58 bezels had three screw holes, where the '59s had only one, and attached at the top to a tab welded into the grill.
