Hey everybody, I was just wondering if anyone has used the spectra f26d fuel tank for their diesel truck. I am currently having an issue with the sending unit not fitting the new tank. Could not find a part number that was diesel specific. My sending unit is twice the size of the hole in the tank. If anyone has run into this, maybe you could help with a part number for the correct tank or sending unit. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you. Apparently I was sent an F26C fuel tank instead of the F26D. This tank was made for an 84 Ford. Guess I am back to square one. Once again, thank you for your help.

 

Unless I'm completely wrong, you want the f26E, not the F26D. I used the F26E and had zero issues with my swap.

 

Tried it truck wouldn't fire on starting fluid either
