Registration and insurance are the same here, (the F350 costs more). Oil changes cost the same but I'm guessing tires, brakes ... will be more. As long as gas stays cheap I'm good but if it goes back to $4/gallon then I might not be good.
I like the bigger bed too. We had a problem with our boat trailer brakes last summer. I had to drive 90 with no brakes to get home. I was impressed how well the F250 could stop with the trailer pushing it.

I believe your wheels have a "0" offset. Assuming that, did you have to level your truck to clear those tires? I like that size a lot.

Definitely gets the side of the truck dirty when it rains/snows, tires stick out about a inch past fenders. I bought some fender flares but haven't put them on yet.

Yeah that is my complaint with my current 17" zero offset, I'm getting lots of rock dings too. Problem is, the old style wheels I want come in negative or zero offset. In a perfect world I would get a +20 to +12 to keep the wheels more under the fenders. I'm not a big fender flare fan. You figure a positive offset would help from ever rubbing?

It's a really nice p/u for towing our 20' 5000 lb boat.
If you're towing (anything) that weights as Much or More than your tow vehicle it's not hard for the trailer to began controling you're vehicle. Stopping, Hills, up or down, Hwy Speed Turing, Winds or Rain .. ect You're screwed.
It doesn't compare to my 15' 4x4 250 when towing..the S/D.
The 250 has a Substantially Larger and Stiffer Frame, Huge Axles, Brakes, Extremely Larger Transmission and Cooling System. And it's weight.
