Very nice truck! How's the driving impressions so far? I parked next a 2015 today and my truck is only about a foot longer. I'm way taller, but the parking footprint doesn't change much.
I have an '05 and in the fall I'll be up against the same thing- 2015 F250 6.2 or a F150 5.0 or 3.5.
I've had a 1977 F150, 1983 F150, 1994 Bronco, 2003 F250 diesel, and now the 2005 F250 5.4. Aside from twin traction beam, I've never had an independent suspension front end. I like heavy duty trucks, but I just sold my boat and I'm not towing anything right now. Taking the kids to daycare, hauling garden tractors and motorcycles, etc. But I don't want to be limited to an ultralight RV trailer if I get one in the future....

I really have no need for a 3/4 ton, but for what they wanted for a loaded down F-150 it was an easy choice to move towards a 250.
It really depends on what your motivation is. Do you need excellent fuel efficiency? Do you need the utility of a 3/4 ton truck? So on and so forth.....
I have never heard anyone say "Man, I wish I had less truck"

I'm enjoying the truck. On all but the worst road surfaces it rides and drives nice. We have a couple roads with bad RR crossings, those bounce me around a little more. There isn't much difference in parking between my F150 & F250 however I haven't went into the city yet so I don't know about the height clearance in the parking garages. The EB F150 was more responsive to the gas, you give it some gas and it goes. The F250 is a little slower as expected but still performs well. I like driving the F250 on the highway better than the F150, I get a great view over other vehicles. I'm looking forward to towing the boat out to Lake Erie next month, it should be a fun trip. We have been thinking of getting a 5th wheel camper in the next 1 to 2 years so we wanted a truck that can handle the trailer. It's way over kill for what I tow now

Yes the lettering is removable I asked when I was purchasing too, I thought that I'd have to have them removed but after a few months now they have grown on me. Still seems pretentious though

I have the same F250 "nice truck" I went with the 250 because it was less than the 150 and its wider which allows me to stretch out on the back seat while the wife drives on long trips. Though the 250 rides more like a truck the Platinum is pretty plush and comfortable on long highway trips. The upgrades Sony sound system and those large roomy seats make this a sweet ride. I hope you enjoy yours as much as my wife and I do.
