I'm looking at getting the Clifford twin webber 38/38 carb setup. I've got a few questions to see if anyone can help. First, is the intake manifold two separate intakes and does it have a coolant ports? Does it come from Clifford's synced and ready to be bolt on and fired up? Does it have all the nessary vacuum ports, for PCV, vacuum advance, and possible vacuum gauge? Is the factory fuel pump sufficient for the dual carbs? And last but not least, besides the cool value, is it worth it?

I had a 300, that I put a Clifford 4 barrel intake on, with a holley 390cfm, the manifold was one piece and had no coolant passages in it. You always have to adjust the carbs, when you get them. They get banged around during shipping, possibly dropped God forbid, so you may have to adjust the floats and the linkages. I never bought a carb. that went right on and ran perfect. It does have vacuum ports for PVC, distributor and other, some are ported and others are wide open vacuum. So it will have what you need. Good luck, setting twin carbs can be a pain in the ***. And it seems they go out of whack on ya every so often, so be prepared for that, my single holley was great ran awesome, very little maintenance. I was glad I went that way.

No clue on the coolant ports. The ones I've owned in the past didn't but that was a few years back. So I don't know on the newer intakes.
I love the dual carb set ups. But to me it's not worth $1400. For that kind of money, I'd spend a little more and go with the triple side draft or down draft Weber carbs.
If it was me I'd just buy the bare dual carb intake manifold. Pick up a pair of old Autolite 2100/Motorcraft 2150 2V carbs, in the 1.02 to 1.08 size range, and rebuild them. I don't see why you couldn't have the whole dual carb set up for half or less of what they charge for their complete set up. And the autolite/motorcraft carbs are a much simpler design that works great.

I did that very thing last season. It was the first time I ever bolted on a set of carbs and had it run perfectly with no adjustments other that setting the idle speed.
