Thanks for the quick reply! Sold! As of now I do not really need any parts other than the distributor, but I will keep you in mind for future parts needs! Do you have a Paypal account? If so, When you find the dizzy, please send me an invoice. Looking forward to doing business with you. So has the distributor ever been installed? It does still have the PIP inside right? Thanks!,

Hi Jason,
I dug it out and it looks great. It was a marine distributor and hence painted black. If you look very closely you can see the slightest wear on the gear. Otherwise everything looks like new. I bought it years ago to convert my boat from carburetion to fuel injection but the marine controls turned out to be really difficult to overcome, so I sold the rest of it.
Let me know if you are still interested and I will invoice you.
Thanks,
Jim

I actually never used it. I bought it like new. Like I say, it looks to be in great shape.
I had purchased a newer, later Ford Explorer 5.0 engine and rounded up all the Mercruiser EFI stuff but I ended up getting into a lot more complexity than I thought I would. With boats you have to deal with any vapor that may arise. I sold off the EFI and the Explorer engine and this is all I have left.
I ended up rebuilding my old 302, going to a conventional Mallory ignition with a new Holley 4bbl.
If you want to check my ebay record, you can go to Sierra Marine Serpentine Alternator Volvo 3857813 18 6265 | eBay

I have a few more pieces to sell and I will be cleared out of the 5.0 EFI boat stuff.
