I've got a few issues with my truck,engine light's been on but the codes I get are P1151 & P1152 which are as near as I can tell, a call to several others. But today I started her up for the first time in the day and the engine loped and stuttered and stalled when I step on the pedal. It started again, idling badly, but then smoothed out(at idle) When I stepped on the gas, it hesitated,coughed through the intake and roared spewing a white cloud that went away at idle again. It starts and will idle before it quits but I can't move it. Scanned it with my Actron CP9145 but the same two codes turn up. No water in the oil, the smoke will start after it's idled a bit. Can some one give me a general direction to head in?

 

Check fuel pressure. My sisters Crown Vic 4.6l did the same thing. Fuel filter was clogged. The MAF sensor was pretty dirty too but I doubt that was the issue. Started to do it right after she filled up with gas, came home and parked it. Went to start it a day later to go to work it did that. I figure she got a load of gunk when she filled up with gas. New fuel filter fixed it.

 

Check your IAC also.
