Mixing a low pinion and mated t case

Has anyone else ever tried using a low pinion 44 with a truck that has a mated t case? I'm getting a truck that doesn't have a front axle so I'm going to sit my old 44 under it for now at least. Is it possible to have a workable pinion angle like this? If I can make it work I might just let it in there.

I think your first problem would be the transmission cross member, not sure if the lower drive-shaft will hit it. The pinion angle would be okay but a low pinion 44 usually comes with older, weaker parts.

It actually does seem like it's going to work as long as I don't lift it. I have to use a 79 F350 front driveshaft because it's a little shorter. I tried a 79 F250 shaft that was used on a hp 44 and I have no room to move its collapsed all the way. I wish I had another HP D60 laying around but I'm going to keep my eyes out for a HP44 since this isn't exactly ideal.
