FYI there is another style of spare tire mount that doesn't require crawling under the truck and might be a better option for some guys. I have seen guys build sheet metal boxes to use on them for folding ladders etc. instead of spare tires. I am going to do the latter one day.

Did the TimK mod and closed off vent runs going into garage. Also closed off heat run in garage as I will be adding a heat strip with the new A/C. Also sealed off all the vents and cleaned up the plenum area on main salon unit. MUCH better air flow. Starting to change mini blinds for shades.

Looks good Slyhunter! I see your hinge spacing is closer than mine. I was able to trim about 1/4 inch from both upper plate corners and get it between the hinges. No way on yours. Because of that I could only do the light on the sides. Is your light LED? How does it illuminate the tag at night? I hate mine as its super bright but doesn't illuminate the tag worth a damn.

Do you have a make and model for the one you used?
Maybe even a link as it looks like one I would like to use.

I couldn't find a suitable place to mount my new solar panel that is used to keep the ATV batteries charged. So I made a bracket to attach the solar panel to the cargo door using magnets.
I put made it adjustable from 80° down to 30°. I can put the magnets on either side of the bracket or on the bottom. That gives me three different configurations to put the solar panel into.
I had the seven magnets already. I bought the aluminum and stainless steel hardware at my local Ace Hardware.
So far I've only attached it to the side of my freezer. It takes a pretty good tug to pull it off of there. The leaf blower couldn't knock it off.
