1974 F600 Horn Assembly

NumberDummy, can you give me the parts # for the horn assembly on a 1974 F600? I assume I will be able to call the same locations for this as I can the locations you mentioned for the turn signal switch.

To clarify: The horn assembly on the steering column.......

How much of this do you need? Horn button assy. comes with all the parts, but the parts (less the button) were available by themselves. Spring & nut sold by themselves.

Steering wheel comes with certain, parts, but the parts (less the wheel) were also available by themselves.

Thanks Bill! I believe ordering part # 13A805 will give me all I need. When I pull that part # up on vintage parts' website, this is only part of the part # itself. For example, D9HZ13A805A is listed as the button horn control. I'm sure someone there can help me get the correct part when I call them Tuesday.

So if I want to replace everything outside the steering wheel which part # would that be (I actually don't need the horn button but if it comes with an assembly that's fine).

Look at this pic. 13A805 includes 13A809 - 13A808 - 13A813, but these 3 parts can also be bought individually.

You have the horn button, so which one of these parts do you need? Lemme guess, one of the tabs has snapped off 13A809, so the button fits on the wheel catty-wampus.

D2TZ-13A809-B .. Nylon Horn Button Retainer / Obsolete ~ Reproduced by Dennis Carpenter (800-476-9753).

I don't have a price (30 years ago it was about 4 bucks), but the shipping charges will be more than the cost of the puppy.

Now, if I knew where you lived in TX .. I wouldn't have to type all these sources.

GLOFF FORD in Clinton TX has 1 = 800-659-6632.

BIG SPRINGS FORD in Big Springs TX has 1 = 800-288-3082.

NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 16 = 972-937-2201.

And...GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 247 = 800-543-4959.

And...one or more tabs snapped off the nylon retainer, so now you need another.

See post 6 - I found 84 of the puppies at 8 TX sources.
