74' F600 turn signal switch

Anyone know where to get an OEM turn signal switch for a 1974 F600? I believe the correct part # is SM49F but I can't seem to find one anywhere. I really don't want to install and aftermarket switch if I don't have to. Any help is appreciated.

Not surprising, since this is not the Ford part number.

Yeah you're right. That is the # that my local parts store cross referenced but their supplier did not have one. I will look again but the part # tag was still on the switch when I took it off and it was "D2TA-13**** I don't remember the rest. What is the difference in a switch starting with D2TA and D1TZ like you are suggesting.

One is the ID engineering number, t'other is the part number.
Look at my post again, I had an epiphany.
