Auto meter electric oil pressure gauge in a pod. Working perfectly for years now. Like 60$

The sender screws into where you remove schrader valve.just need an 1/8-1/8" npt street elbow.
Ae does nothing with diluted pressure.
Thanks again for the help sir, I just got an oil pressure gauge from autozone for $20. Came with everything I need but a street elbow. Yayyy monitoring fuel psi.

Found some interesting things. One my fuel bowl was leaking at the cap, and 2 my fuel bowl and FPR screen was DIRTY! I went buy a new fuel filter and put it in after I cleaned everything. There was about 1/4" of crap at the bottom of the bowl and on the screen. I also noticed this thing was unplugged under my dash, no clue how long it's been unplugged. I put a pressure gauge on my fuel bowl but I didn't get the kind that has gel in it so it kinda didn't do any good. But the truck seems to have ran a bit better.

The thing that came unplugged was to the right of the pedal, directly under the little holder box in the dash.

I'm sure it doesn't help but this time when I put my foot to the floor the fuel psi was jumping from 15-80psi probably 3 times per second.

Uple of things to catch up on. I tried to take out my fuel tanks by picking the bed up and had to basicly destroy/drill out all of the bed bolts since all of the bolts where round topped. Ended up just making my own outta 1/2" hex bolts with a washer up top and a 3/4" od .120 wall piece of Dom tubing welded up top. Got everything out and put back together. Then took apart the fuel bowl and fuel pressure regulator and found the screen was very plugged and the bowl had about 1/4" thick layer of crap at the bottom. I cleaned all of it out and found that my fuel heater is toast. Swapped in a new fuel filter. Then tired to hook up a fuel pressure gauge but it wasn't glycerin filled so it just jumped all over the place. It would jump from 15-80 psi 3 times per second.

So this little nugget of joy just happened. I went to fill up my truck and turns out my rubber hose to my fuel tank was slightly off the inlet on the tank. Right in between the tank and the frame rail. So I lost about 7 gallons driving home 9 miles. Had to take half of the bed bolts out and then put the hose back together. Atleast diesels cheap here.

Now hook up the box and drag it up a mountain. The gauge should smooth out some under a load or put some sort of adj orifice in the line to dampen the pulses . I bet pressure is low under a hard run.

I'm gonna go yank the camper here in a bit. I'm just gonna buy a 1/4" pressure gauge with glycerin and convert the 1/8th inch compression fittings over.

Just went yank the camper around. Did great at first. Built 12psi in 3od at 2600rpms. I slow down to 65-69mph then floor it until I get to 80mph repeatedly. The first 10 miles went great. Even up hill. My chip was in heavy tow. Then right before I got back to the off ramp I decided to test it in extreme... and it immediately started doing it again... in all chip settings.... I really can't wait for AE to come in so I can see my hpop and Tranny info.

I think I'm going to go remove the battery cables as well and let the computer reset and see what it does.

Same results. I was given an electric pump today. I'm going to bypass the lift pump and run this instead right after the tank selector. Should be a very accurate/definative answer of if my issue is fuel volume.
