Oh ok thanks for the info. Yeah I wish I woulda been able to get one of those. That turbo is a ****** the first time u take it out. I don't remember the last time I screamed that much profanity at an inanimate object.

Tried pulling again. Same result as before. Turbo just whistles a little louder and I have 1-2psi higher sooner. But still cap off at 17psi. Plenums are all sealed so no leaks. Gotta get a scanner or scan software and figure out where to start searching.

Still looking for answers to what's happening with the stutter. Currently waiting to get auto enginuity so I can start looking into real time stats.

This is how my dog spends her days when I'm working on the truck. She knows if she's in the truck I can't leave her home.

Have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it and driven it to see fuel pressure under load?!?!
Much cheaper test than buying ae.

Lol not really, have u priced parts for a fuel pressure setup lately? I might as well spend the extra 100 and get the $350 ford bundle ae. But in all seriousness, no, i just put an air gauge to it at idle. Was 60psi. I'm going to get ae ford bundle and start looking at and recording data. If I'm going to own this truck for any longer I need some sort of diagnostics and real time information.

One more thing that hasn't been mentioned have you tighten the 10mm bolts on the IDM, PCM, and 42 pin connector? Remove them and put some dielectric grease and tighten them.

You are doing it wrong!

Ugg

Auto meter electric oil pressure gauge in a pod. Working perfectly for years now. Like 60$

The sender screws into where you remove schrader valve.just need an 1/8-1/8" npt street elbow.
Ae does nothing with diluted pressure.

Oh I didn't know u could just use an oil pressure gauge on it with modification. Sorry man yall are way smarter then me, i dont know all these tricks. Thank you sir for the info.

On another note, what is auto enginuity going to show me if it doesn't even show me fuel pressure

see the Blutooth unit I bought for cheap, reads most of what I need and Tourque Pro app works well.

there is a USB version you can use with forescan on a PC that can do a lot of what AE can do but at a much cheaper cost.

I've been messing with torque pro and vgate for the past couple months. Only reads speedo and rpms on mine.
