new to slicks

I've always owned a bump (67-72) f100. I just traded my 69 for a 63! I'm excited, always wanted a slick. She's got a long bed, 223 straight six, 4 spd . Not sure what direction to go with it. Just want a good semi-daily driver to cruise to home depot, the beach, work sometimes. Hope to learn lots on here!

Thank you! I'm thrilled. Im gonna try leaving it as is for this season and enjoy some summer cruise ins. I have bad ADD and OCD when it comes to cars/trucks. The combination causes me to rarely finish a project.

I don't want to start another disc brake convo, I know it's beat to death, but has anyone used the scarebird brackets with Dodge rotors?

delivery

Looks like she'll be arriving next week, mid-week. I've already been hunting stuff online. Got new tires and a drum/drum dual master cylinder sitting here ready!

Got her home this weekend. Lord, I had my lovestruck glasses on when I first bought it. I feel like she's a 6 packer. There's not a panel on it that isn't beat, banged or dented! I need to find a driver's side window and a passenger's side vent window. Someone already did a dual master, and some super safety bumpers (ha ha ha jk) those bumpers are awful.

Since you live in Durham, Carolina Classics is also located there.

jowilker knows, he lives in Creedmore and is a pal of the owner. I met the owner @ the 2008 F100 SuperNationals 3 day truck show/swap meet held in May in Knoxville TN

This year it was held in Lebanon TN

Got my wheels on it. Thinking my tires might be too wide though...
