92 7.3 Quits At 3000 Rpm

I just installed an injector pump on a 92 F 350 with a new fuel pump. The truck ran great for about a week , but now the truck dies out when it reachs 3000 rpm. Does anyone have any info on this problem?

What kind of shape in the IP in? There is a governor inside the IP that might have somehow gotten turned down for some reason. Since there is no ignition to speak of, the only limitations you have are air and fuel. Unless there's something in the way of the air coming in, that would only leave the fuel. If your fuel pump is fine, that would leave the IP. Either it wasted, or the gov. is set too low. If it's a recent rebuild, that would most likely be the case.
