What oil is everyone running

Was thinking about running Rotella but didnt know if there is a certain oil that these trucks like. Mines a 95 7.3 2wd crew cab dually with auto trans. Should i got conventional, blend, or synthetic? I know its usually a matter of personal opinion but just curious what everyone else is running. Also how much oil does my truck hold?

I like rotella 15-40 conventional. It's the only thing I buy at wal-mart along with the Ford oil filter.

I always use Schaeffer 7000. Really nice stuff but a bit hard to find and expensive.

Ditto.

I punch a hole in the bottom of the filter to drain it. Pre-fill (takes a little time for it to sift through the filter) before installing. And write the date and miles on it with a sharpie.

Been using Schaeffers Supreme 7000 15W-40 (14-15 quarts, depending on how I feel that day) and the Motorcraft FL 1995 filter. Very pleased with the Schaeffers. Runs smoother, quieter, and seems to maintain viscosity better over the 5000 mile interval. I buy it on Amazon, and a complete oil change costs right at $100.

Was running Mystik Super HD but the oil sample results were consistently showing lower viscosity about half way through the change interval.

Thats nice to know you can buy Schaeffers on amazon. I have been getting it at the local Napa but they never have it in stock so I have to buy a gallon every time they have it until I have enough
