Have someone going to finish the cab work on my 53 and he said he would paint the firewall and dash as well.So now im trying to figure out what color i want this truck to be.I really like gunmetal grey but having a hard time seeing it..If anyone has any pics or paint codes of other gun metal grey trucks that would be great.Thanks

 

Just do it!

I bet a gunmetal in gloss or matte would be pretty rad. The fact you haven't seen many in that color is all the more reason to do it.

It's a 80's Toyota color. I can check in the shop tomorrow and get you the paint code, if you want it. It's base/clear but you should be able to get in in single stage if you had rather.

This is the color of the wife's Mustang. It's called Sterling Grey. Very heavy on the metal flake. If you like gun metal, this should also appeal to you.
