What are the wires that plug into the glow plugs called?

I have 2 or 3 really loose wire clips, I'd rather replace them that keep checking on them.

I'm on rockauto.com, it's a nice website someone here told me about.

Do these wires have a specific name?

if i remember correctly, the GP wires were fusable wire, meaning that if it ever shorted out, it would act like a fuse.

i use regular crimp connectors and some heat shrink tubing. i replace all 8 ends for around $1.50

I would too, but some people like to spend money.

I will take the $1.50 route.

Any cables in particular? I don't want to get them too thin and weak

i use the old wires and just replace the ends.
there are 2 different size bullet connectors, .153 and .176
the .153 are hard to come by, but fit better.
i normally just use the .176 and pinch the end a bit with a pair of pliers to make them fit snug.
i get them from NAPA in the 100 packs. .176 is the standard size everyone uses, and what is kept in stock.

Nice, on my way there now to return the powerstroke relay the sold me. Thanks for the help guys. This forum is awesome.
