Hello Everyone,

I am in need of a core to rebuild or a pump if anyone out there has one. I have a 1993 E350 IDI with a Banks Sidewinder Turbo. The pump I need is a DB2831-5069, but the shops tell me that they can convert a DB2831-5013 if need be.
Why do I need a core? The shop my van is at shipped my pump out, and it has been lost in the mail/shipping for months! If anyone has anything that I could use, please let me know! Thanks, Ed

 

Tell that shop manger/owner that he needs to find you a rebuild able core since they were responsible for yours. The only other option is go to a junkyard or car-part.com

did you get the shop to provide you with a tracking number?
if no tracking number is available, i would be making the shop cough up a core, or eating the core charge.

things do get lost in the mail.
if a tracking number is available, contact the shipping company and file a claim.
