1950 Standard Heater Switch Picture

Can anyone send me a picture of what the on/off switch on the non-deluxe model heater switch looks like mounted to the dash. I am missing mine and am having a hard time finding a picture of what i am missing. the wire comes out of the heater and goes to some kind of light fixture that isnt correct and is dangling from the dash. Thanks for the help. And if you know where i could find a new switch assembly/mount that would be great. Thanks

This is the truck three door heater in my '49. If your heater looks different than this one, you may have an aftermarket heater. I will have to look at mine again, but IIRC it should have three wires coming from the motor to the switch, high speed, low speed and a ground.

Here are the controls for the standard three door heater in my '49, your '50 should be the same. the **** on the left is the defrost cable, the **** on the right is the two speed reversible motor switch. This switch bracket, fan switch, and defrost cable are the same as the '46-'48 passenger car. The heater itself is different.

Here is what mine looks like, it only has the one wire which runs the motor and goes to the light hanging down. Mine doesnt seem to have any other controls other than on/off

That is the switch. It is lighted anytime power is applied and twists to regulate the speeds. Some after market have a variable resistor and some have 3 positions. And yes, it does just clamp to the bottom of the dash.
