EGT Sensor #3, how in the heck...
#16
I got 3 of the 4 EGT sensors out of my truck to hit them with anti-seize. Number 3 seems to be frozen in place and my flare nut wrench (Mac tools) is just splaying when trying to get it out. This was when my truck has less than 1,500 miles on it... I will be trying again with the truck up to temp, but working around the exhaust when it is hot is not my most favorite job...

I agree and I have that as well as oxy/acetylene, but you have to be able to see it to heat it.. The sensor is almost trapped above a frame rail and at about the 2 o'clock position.. I might look at dropping the exhaust hangers to see if I can get better access.. Not a super high priority right now since the 15's don't seem to have the same issues as the earlier models..
