MAF help please
i have a 1992 f150 5.0L EFI 4x4. so the top picture is my current air intake we made ourselves, versus paying a lot more for the right air cleaner haha. been getting an engine light that goes on and off while im driving. happens when im at high RPM, and also when im going down a hill but its sitting at a good RPM. (Don't have a tachometer sorry) for the life of me i cant find the MAF anywhere. is that it in the bottom picture?

There's not one in either of your pictures. Unless it has been swapped, a 1992 will not have a MAF meter. Have you checked for codes? You can check using a paper clip and counting blinks on the check engine light: EEC IV Self Test hookup

odd. i plugged in the obd1 tester we have and it didnt find anything. our mechanic told me to clear the codes from the memory since it could be confusing itself. so i pressed clear and now the light hasnt come on. just waiting game. everything is running smoothly and strong, so i just wanted to get this out of the way. my O2 sensor looks terrible, so tomorrow im replacing it anyways.
