Can anyone recommend a good shop to service my 2000 F-250 crew cab Lariat PSD? My first experience with the local dealer has not been stellar, and I would prefer to deal with an independent shop if I can find a good one. Prefer it to be Bellevue/Kirkland or maybe Redmond.

 

Though I don't have any personal experience with them, I've heard that there's a good diesel tech at the Ford dealership in Issaquah. That is, if you want routine service work done. Let me know if you want to get into modifications, there are a few good shops around for that, too.

 

I had a very good service experience at the Powershop in Enumclaw. Travelling there for routine maintenance may be overkill but for diagnostics and conscientious service, they are great. Chuck is the owner and frequently the person you will deal directly with. They specialize in Rv's and tow vehicles so they are up-to-date on the powerstoke problems and peformance upgrades. While I would trust them to do upgrades, I prefer to do my own. I have used them for troubleshooting an issue I couldn't fix!!!

What about Horizon Ford which used to be SeaTac Ford Truck Sales down at the south end of Boeing field. They service lots of commercial trucks there and the hours are very friendly. I haven't dealt with them since the name changed, but it was always before.
