I found this 1994 Ford F-350 Fuel Vapor Valve | FordParts.com on Ford parts, but it looks like I need part 9B593. This is the assembly and I want to try just the top. LMC Truck has what they are calling a "Vent Valve-1 Port" part# 40-1955. Truck Parts and Truck Accessories I realy dont want to spend another $150 on this tank. Let me see if I can take it off without braking it.

SO after all this time on the inter-web, trying to find the right part, I never found what I believe was an exact replacement. Please tell me if I'm wrong but its only a one way check valve. I can make something that will work in no time at all.

You cant seal it off it has to vent, for the expansion on a hot day, and when your at the pump she might shut off on ya. I bet ya I have one at work, used but it will look a lot better than that, do you want me to take it out, you can PM me your address and I will ship it out tomorrow. your call

Thank you very much for your offer but I'm going to try the Dorman. I can have it on Tuesday and it should work. From what I can tell the hole diameter is the same.

OK so the Dorman is no good. Its to small. I found an OEM replacement from broncograveyard part #30260 for $110. Bronco Gas Tank Roll Over/Breather Valve-Broncograveyard.com But they sell an alternative for $16. You will need part# 30259 and #30259S. 1980-96 Bronco Gas Tank Breather Valve-Broncograveyard.com 1980-96 Bronco Gas Tank Breather Valve Seal-Broncograveyard.com When I get them in I will let you know how its go's.

I thought I needed to tee it off for venting. Does yours work without that vent?
