05-10 v10 3v all the same? or are there differences?

I have an 07 250 SD 6speed 4x4 4.10 with v10 3v, the engine is smoking, it has 175,000 on it. Time for another v10. Im looking at replaceing with a salvaged V10 3v from 05-2010. My question is, are all the v10 3v motors from 05-10 the same, same Hp (362) same tork (457 lb.ft.)? or are their differences? I have read that the van v10's from thoes years might be different, meaning lower figures. However, Wiki says no, they are all the same. If you know, please let me know so I dont buy the wrong engine.

Vans never got the 3-valve V10, and neither did the Excursion.

All F-series SHOULD be the same 3-valve from 2005 and up.

Should be, I'd like to hear from anyone who knows any different.

Thanks, that actually makes a lot of sense.

I'm kind of curious on the diagnosis on your V10, is it burning oil or anti-freeze? 175k isn't really considered super high mileage on any Super Duty engine.

Oil smoke, and power loss. Probably just one cylinder, or worse (head/block). Not worth the money to investigate. Oil smoke is not going to go away on its own. In any case im screwed. My Mechanic said this is very very rare for this engine even at this mileage. Find a salvaged V10, swap it out.
