I have a 1974 ford bronco 3 speed and my wife needs to be able to drive this just incase so I need to know how much it would be to swap out my manual trans for a automatic?

 

That's kind of a loaded question. A lot depends on the parts you use and how much of the work you can do yourself.

It could be as little as a few hundred to do the swap if you go with used parts and do all the work yourself.

Or if you need to have a shop do all the work and go with new parts and a rebuilt transmission it could run $3,000-$6,000 or possibly more.
