I have two trucks, one is a beat up reg cab f250, auto, 4x4 with a PSD in it and the other is a rust free, 4 door f350, auto, 2wd, with a 5.8l in it. I want a 4 door, 4wd f250 PSD in the end. Any concerns or problems I might run into. The only thing I can think of is the drive shaft length and the engine cradle. Also any tips of tricks to removing a 7.3 would be appreciated as I have never done this before.

 

Since you have a donor truck, it should be doable, albeit not easy. Pity you don't want to find a D60 for the front though.

 

You'll want the entire wiring harness from the psd. You'll have to lengthen the wires to the rear. Some frame work for the 4x4 conversion will be needed.


That psd is heavy, just be safe and make sure you have strong enough equipment. Otherwise just like pulling another motor.
