She Finally Arrived - 2015 F450
I have been wanting patiently to buy a new truck ever since the introduction of the 6.7. My previous truck was a late Model 2004 F350 Dually, 4X4, manual tranny, 6.0. I was one of the lucky ones, and had zero issues, other than it's ability to tow my 40 ft, 20K lbs 5ver was just mediocre in my opinion. After watching this site and hearing great reports....and saving my pennies, I finally made the plunge and I'm now a proud owner of a 2015 F450 Lariat, Ruby Red on Black, complete with just about all the bells and whistles.
So far, I've only found enough local errands to run to pile up 300 miles. So far, it drives like a dream, and I can't wait to hitch up the 5ver and see what she can really do.
As far as mods:
I have ordered a 65 gallon Titan tank
Gatorback Rear mud flaps
TST TPMS with internal sensors
On my old truck, I had an EGT gauge, pillar mounted, with an auto shut off at 300 degrees F. I really wish this truck had an EGT gauge. Still learning the electronics, but it seems in the gauge mode, there is a blank screen. Can this be programmed to be used for something useful like EGT?
Also, I did read in the owners manual, that some trucks are equipped with an auto shut off. How would I know if my truck came with this or not? IF it were an option, I certainly would have ordered it.
Finally, if I am out of luck on an OEM EGT and auto shut off, any recommendations on a system that is easy to install and reliable? I am not looking to add any performance tunes. I'm a "keep it stock" kind of guy.
Here are a few pics of the Beast.

Thanks for all the kind words.
There is a slight clearance issue with the Titan 65 gallon and the carrier bearing support bracket on the 2015 F450 drive shaft. It was moved toward the rear of the vehicle in 2015 for some reason. Take the bracket off, trim 1/4" off, paint, re install, and it clears.
Regarding an Auto idle shut off, I found this in the owners manual:
ENGINE IDLE SHUTDOWN Your vehicle may be equipped with an engine idle shutdown system. This system automatically shuts down your engine when it has been idling in P (Park) or N (Neutral) for five minutes (parking brake set) or 15 minutes (parking brake not set). When the engine idle shutdown process has started: 13 Super Duty (TFA) , enUSA Starting and Stopping the Engine • A chime sounds and the information display will show ENGINE TURNS OFF IN 30 (seconds) and start counting down • You can restart the five or 15-minute timer by changing the position of the accelerator pedal, brake pedal or the park brake within the final 30 seconds • When the timer reaches zero, the engine shuts down and this message will appear in your information display ENGINE TURNED OFF • One minute after the engine has shut down, the electrical system simulates key off, even though the ignition is still in the on position, initiating normal accessory delay period • You must move the ignition to the off position to reset the system before restarting your vehicle. The engine idle shutdown idle timer does not start if: • The engine is operating in power take-off mode. • The engine coolant temperature is below 60°F (16°C). • The exhaust emission control device is regenerating.
How do I know if my truck has this option?
I did not see this as a build option when I ordered my truck or I would have certainly included it. Can anyone shed some light on this option?

I don't know if it is a stand alone option, or part of an option package, but I know that if you have it, it should be listed on the window sticker. You could also have your dealer run the vin if you're not sure. More for commercial rigs I think, kinda like the back up beeper.
Beeuuutiful truck! Congrats.
