I'm working on reducing the amount of "unwanted" e-mails from my inbox. I got an e-mail from FTE today and there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

When you click on that link, it opens a new jump page that says, "Click the link below if the page does not load in 5 seconds" and underneath that, "Go to your link". Here's where it gets insidious. The jump page does not redirect you anywhere regardless of how long you wait, and "Go to your link" is not a link, just plain text.

So the end result is that there is no way to unsubscribe from FTE e-mails. Does anyone know how I can stop receiving these? Also, and I gotta ask... is this deliberate?

Also... a suggestion... perhaps there should be a "Site issues" forum. I remember there used to be.

Try this -

Go to "User CP" in the 'ribbon' above. Select it.
Go to "Edit Options" once in "User CP" and find e-mail notifications.
De-select the option you don't want to receive.

Go to the bottom of the page and select "Save Changes"

That should do it. (I think!)

This isn't a forum notification e-mail, it's a marketing e-mail sent by IB.

 

in the bottom blue bar, there is a contact us link. use this to submit a service ticket, and someone from FTE or IB staff will get back to you to help you resolve this issue.
