'51 Ford F2... I'm excited!

Hey guys/gals...
I'm brand new to the forum, and a brand new owner of a 1951 Ford F2, with an original Flathead V8. She's going to need a lot of TLC, but I'm already in love with it.

it looks to me like the box is for a F1 as it is to short for the F2 which has a 8 1/2 foot bed. the extra front end hood looks like a 48-50. welcome and good luck.

Welcome to FTE. Looks like a pretty decent starting point. 51's are the best looking too!

Welcome to FTE!

You have the 5 Star Extra cab. Your doors should have armrests, the driver's door should have a lock, you should have 2 visors, the glove box should have a lock, you have the stainless trim around the windshield, the grille is painted the original argent silver.

Welcome to FTE! So what are your plans for the truck?
I see you are in North Carolina and mentioned darkside. Darksiders have cookies...cookies make you fat so you should stay stock.
We have several other members from NC.

Not my auction.. Found it yesterday looking for '52 Trim. F2 trim is pretty hard to find.. I recommend buying it if you have the funds.

I have a 51 - F3 that I am restoring...cab, engine, front end was in pretty good shape, but the box/tailgate were shot....hard to find those types of things in Canada.
Opted to make it a flat bed.
Lots of front end items out there both new and used....this forum is great for getting advice....especially for a rookie like myself.

Good Luck with your project!

I love my flatbed. My son made it in his high school shop class. It is so versatile.
