Speeding up "The Tortoise"

Thought I'd make a little build thread for you guys to see my ole tortoise get some love. ( and get some help when I need it! ) The truck is a 1995 f250 that I rescued from a owner that didn't really know what he was doing. Recently it dropped injectors 5 and 7 so I finally convinced the wife to let me build it here's my current list of goodies
Rosewood stage 2 injectors
S366 complete kit from irate diesel
910 valve springs
ARP studs
Smiths brother push rods
T500 hpop
Still deciding on tunes and an intake. Also who has a parts list or advice for building my fuel system? Did you buy a kit or build your own? Any opinions would be much appreciated. Here's the pictures I have so far. Plans are to pull it and do the work on the stand

If you buy the irate kit make sure you get the inlet pipe.those idiots love to short people parts that they paid for.
Then just a filter is needed.

I have had the ol 6637 paper filter in the past and it works adequately.

I have now got the afe big boost equivalent filter.we will see how that works out.I mainly liked the reusable factor. Just my opinion.worth .002

Yeah I definitely like the reuseable factor. Will probably end up with a 6637 for now. Has anyone dealt with dp tuner for our trucks? I'm liking what i see so far just dont have much experiance with tunes. Hopefully the motor will be on the stand this weekend.

Little update: pulled the engine out today. It was a little daunting dealing with an engine this big but it came out much easier than expected. I ended up just lifting the motor and rolling the truck backwards. Time to start hanging all the new goodies on and throw it back in the truck! I'll try and get some more pictures tonight and post them up.

I would definitely do a Hydra chip. It allows you to have tunes from different tuners at the same time. I have gearhead tunes right now which are known to fuel less aggressively, making less power but keep heat in check and are good for towing. I might try a Tony Wildman tune in the future for power, although it seems to have tons of power to me right now since the truck was pretty much stock and then went through a transformation similar to what you are doing. The power is close to double what it was

By the way- If you can, put those up-pipes on while the engine was out. That was the most frustrating part of the project for me

I got a pretty similar build to yours. running tony wildman software. He's got that **** down pat.

180CC/100% injectors
Adrenaline HPOP
Modified Holset H2E Turbo
Hypermax tapercore intercooler
ARP headstuds
compcam valve springs
Chromoly pushrods
Billet intake plenums
Twin stock pump efuel system with regulated return
38 gallon rear tank
Tony Wildman burned TS6
BTS Transmission with external transcooler

Truck runs like a raped ape and goes head to head with a deleted and H&S tuned 6.7 and normally win if we keep the spends under 90 (because I'm starting to run outta gear at that point)
