Hey guys what is a non running 390 worth? Also what's the C6 worth? I'm not sure if the tranny is good or not so I would assume not. I'm looking at buying a truck but I want to put the 429 I have into it.

 

The 390 is worth about $250-$300, that's basically what most places would charge you for a rebuildable long block core.

 

Is it about the same for the trans?

 

I have no clue what automatics are going for because I have never had to buy one. A transmission shop might tell you what a C6 core is worth. The thing about your transmission is, is it goes to a FE motor, which makes your clientele limited.

 

I would ordinarily say 200 bucks, but being an FE specific trans, I honestly don't know.
