If that ratty steering wheel is the worst thing about the truck, then she's a real winner! If the pics tell an accurate story, that is one of the best looking original survivor's of that era I've seen!! I hope you get it. Keep us posted.

It is definitely a nice one from what I can tell. My cousin said he had 3 different salesman came in today asking for the keys saying that they had it sold. He told them it is sold but you did not sell it. He has it parked behind the building but they are still trying to sell it. Hopefully I will have my eyes on it Wednesday. Valkyrie that is one beautiful truck you have.

 

Thanks, I like the color you are going to get.....There is a thread to fix the headliner on the forum as mine needs it too. My dad owned mine since new and it has 67K miles on it. Good luck in getting it.

Looks like a great truck but it also looks like its in a used car dealership lot which means they want a pretty-penny for it. A $7 steering wheel cover from k-mart will fix the interior issue.

 

Did you ever get them to deal on the truck?

 

Yes I got it about 10 days ago. I have already pulled the headliner and all trim out of the truck. It has a dent on the roof that somehow I did not notice until it was at my house. I am going to slowly fix it up to give to my son next year in August. The truck runs good but needs a new oil pan and possibly seals fron and rear. The oil pan has silicon on the drain plug and the pan has oil all the way around it.

 

Sounds like you will give it a lot of TLC.......JB.
