My first Ford
It would be interesting to know what your was your first Ford.
Mine as a 57 Ford Fairlane four door sedan. That is the bad. The good was it had the 312 Thunderbird V8. I got it when I was 16. It wasn't much for drag racing although it was faster than most stock Chebbie's, it had a wicked top end. I don't know how fast. It would just bury the speedometer or at least that is what I was told. Being 16 I never tried it myself.

Pea green 1969 mustang coupe. Wicked slow 200 CI six holer and a 3 speed on the floor. At least the 8 track worked. I removed the plastic fake side vents since I thought they looked corny. I have always hated the 69-73 mustang coupe body style. Compared to the fastbacks, they were hideous.. and I had a 71 coupe too. Same ugly color as the 69.

1977 F100 Ranger Stepside color was Tomato Red with Gold pinstripe black roll bar. Bought used in 78 with 1300 miles on ticker. Since that time I've had a 79 Ranchero, 86 F150 XLT, 94 Ranger, 96 F150 XL and 2015 F250 Platinum. One of my favorite memories is my father had a 1956 F1 and every time he turned left he'd throw an arm over me and my brother to keep us from falling out because the door would almost always open I was four. In 92 I had a brain fart and picked up a 92 GMC Sierra Teal Green because Teal was all the rage. I will be a ford guy until the end. Still have the 96 and 15 Fords

My first Ford-produced vehicle (as well as my very first vehicle) was an 82' Mercury Capri. My mom picked it up for me at an auction for $50 so it wasn't exactly mint. Had auto-reclining seats (drivers mount was rusted through the floor), 4 cylinder that ran on 3, and an automatic tranny that had to be shifted manually for gear changes.
It never saw the highway (or a legal tag) but I learned to drive by using it in my parent's pasture. The setup an obstacle course with bales for me to drive around, looking back it was pretty fun for an young teen

Keep 'em coming guys. It is fun to read about your first Fords.
Not my first Ford, but when I was 18 my dad bought a '56 F600 cab over truck from a friend in South Sioux City, Nebraska on the way home from a family vacation. I drove that truck home to south central Nebraska with my brother riding shot gun. Talk about feeling like the big dog. Too bad it got wrecked. It was mighty cool with a 5 speed and two speed axle.

Also, my interest was in vehicles from the Ford family that was your first FMC. vehicle. Maybe it was a late 30's Zephyr. How neat would that have been. I don't really have a rule on this, I was just interested in your first Ford. Maybe you drove unmentionables most of your life and only recently came into the Ford family.
