Any arm rest suggestions?
Looking for suggestions on rigs to pull a couple of arm rests from that would do well on a custom (flat) door panel for a dentside. I plan on making a flat panel that fits the entire recess on the door. Would like an arm rest that is made to attach to a flat surface and ideally one that is flat for about 12" or so and then has a rise up towards the wing window.
I don't need pics necessarily, if you just have a suggestion on a rig I can google some pics.
Here's the best example I could find on the internet (from something that I'd likely never find in a JY):
Thanks,
BB

The arm rests in FOX-chassis Mustangs are a lot like that:
I think this style was used from '81-'86 (the '79 and maybe '80 had different door panels). The '87-93 models also had flat door panels, but window/door lock switches in those years were incorporated into the upper portion of the arm rest rather than elsewhere on the panel and it's not easy to find any w/o power windows/door locks that late.
Unfortunately, finding a four-eyed FOX Mustang in a junkyard is almost like finding a unicorn these days. You could try seeing if anyone over on the forums at foureyedpride.com has spares though.
