P0299 but boost high?

Didn't see anything different (maybe minimal) in boost drop or RPM although my boost was a bit higher than normal. It was more of the whine was slower to come down.

Question about Values with EBP unplugged.
I was watching the EBP all the way to work this morning and noticed it continually dropped from 21 at KOEO down to 9.8 by the time I got to work. Not worried so much about the EBP as I will be changing it out--but is that scale normal from the PCM?

New symptoms. Left work today ebp still unplugged. Truck didn't want to shift normal. It wouldn't shift until about 2500 rpm and I heard zero turbo but was getting boost (alot like with ebp plugged in) it did this for a couple of miles then was normal. Also ebp started at 15 then when i started off then went to 6.3 and stayed even when all cleared up--never moved. What else do I need to look at tomorrow? What could cause shift problem and ebp reading low even with ebp unplugged?

So.......you've had a P0299 and a P0069???? IIRC??
OK--I did a search and you did have the 0069 which is a correlation code. Before I started replacing parts I'd check/clean everything related to the MAP, EGR, EBP, and turbo. You know to check the correlation between MAP, EBP, and Baro and KOEO and what they're supposed to be running. If you haven't cleaned your turbo then get after it and leave those crappie alone for a minute--LMAO. With the EBP acting as hinky as it is it could be a circuit/connection or a biased sensor, that's just hard to know.

Roger---cleaning everything is the plan. I am pretty sure the ebp is bad as when plugged in it doesn't jive with the other two. Map and baro match. Really freaked me out yesterday the way it acted since the ebp was unplugged. But it's time for anothe good cleaning of things. Probably finally broke loose what I couldn't get to when I did the egr delete. Unfortunately them crappie are safe this weekend--we got storms

Got the new ebp installed. Koeo 14.8 map and baro 14.5. Didn't get a chance to drive but will in the morning. Also didn't have a chance to do the vgt relearn proses. Is this a must when changing one of these sensors? Been driving for well over a week with the ebp unplugged.
On another note the old one and tube wasn't too dirty at all surprisingly.
