Fog lights for 2015 F350 XL
#2
I haven't added the factory fogs. But I added Rigid D2's. I thought about replacing the factory. There are brackets bolted up inside to hold the lights. I ended up putting them on either side of the front plate, as they were going to be too bright for use with traffic.
Running them to upfitter switches is really easy. So that's always one way to do it.

I added factory fogs to my '15 f250 XL. It was about $170 for the kit.
As long as you have the power equipment package (windows, locks, mirrors) you already have the upgraded XLT BCM (body control module) and you can get the SLT kit. They will be plug and play. Otherwise you need to get the XL specific kit that is more money and includes the BCM upgrade. A dealer will need to install them then because the truck won't start after changing the BCM until it gets a flash.
The factory kit comes with a new headlight switch that pulls out to activate the fogs (and has the auto position). The kit also includes the dash light sensor for auto headlights. They won't work though until the dealer flashes them.
The entire install was easy and took me less than an hour. I haven't had the auto feature flashed yet though.
This is the kit I bought. Scroll down and read the guy's description:
