Where to get a New or Rebuilt Distributor for 292

I have a 1964 F-100 with a 292 and am I need of a new or rebuilt stock distributor. Where is a good place to either send mine off or buy a rebuilt one? What places do y'all suggest?

Thank You

Try NAPA for a rebuilt, no Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any NOS (C3TZ-12127-K).

But if they did, you probably wouldn't want to pay their price. Last MSRP: $323.43 / Dealer net cost: $152.01.

Thank You, I checked a local Napa and the brand they have is Cardone for $144 and they were very specific to tell me it has no governor and no lodomatic. I didn't think I had those things anyway. Does it sound right ? And what do y'all think of Cardone ?

Thanks

Cardone is good. Napa is overpriced on many things. Try other sources.

Something to be aware of is that the rebuild may be a Motorcraft, rather than Autolite. There is absolutely no problem with that functionally but if you want to keep it original, that won't work.

New distributors are available from MSD and Mallory.

1972: Ford was forced by the US Gov't to sell Auto-Lite, as the Gov't claimed Ford had a monopoly on auto parts.

Ford then started in-house brand Motorcraft, all the Auto-Lite parts numbers became Motorcraft part numbers.
