If you're gonna post up a crap ton of links at the same time, put them in one post.

I actually thought you were on a tear and were gonna keep posting, that's why I posted that!

You let me down, you stopped at 4 after your initial post.

So, I know there are some Mustang owners here, this one popped up and I am thinking of making an offer on it for my daughter's first car (she is starting to turn into a gear head). This would be something we would work on and get it ready for her to start driving at the end of the year.

So Mustang owners, what should I be worried about with this potential purchase?

Thanks!

The only thing I would be worried about is any major rust issues, and making sure the engine is serviceable in its present state.

Swapping in a rear end is easily done, plus there are still tons of aftermarket parts available.

The rear diff went bye-bye on my son-in-laws 6 cylinder Mustang years ago when he had one. We sourced a used one from a V8 at a junk yard and picked it up (rotor to rotor), bolted it in after drilling bigger mounting holes, and it was as good as new.

I wouldn't pay $900 for that tho.

Thanks Stewart! Reps!

I would consider offering him $700, but I would not pay $900 either. Just too much work needs to be done.

Then again, just like that it is gone...

Thoughts on this one guys?
Is the 5.4 an absolute dog or is it ok if not doing any towing?
